This is the quintessential period hot rod. I'll let Rodnut tell it in his own words... "A little '26 Track T roadster that I scratch built several years ago. Real trick car. I fabricated the frame; cowl steering box; quick-change rear axle (built from a '40 Ford banjo); put the body together from about 6 different cars. Notice the original 1920's flying skull radiator ornament. I also had the matching shift knob on the '39 tranny. She had a hot 276" with Eddie Meyer heads and two-pot, Schneider cam, all stainless exhaust, cut-down '26 Nash steering wheel. Lot'sa neat stuff on this one. It went down the road about 4 years ago? I miss this one- it was all period, no repop parts on this baby..." What more could a guy want in a hot rod? Suicide front end with stock axle (stock outta something, anyway), split wishbones, A-arms on the rear, decked-out pumped-up flattie, and Indian blanket upholstery...This is what I see when I look at that pile of crap out in my shop. |
