This is cool. Download it, blow it up and study it. A little bit of flatness will rub off on you. Sopp says,"I drove it that night to the car club meeting. Only cleaned off enough snow to see out the windshield. I was then severely ostracized by the club members for not parking it all winter like they did theirs. Quit club shortly thereafter".
This is called "Poetic Justice". It's a '31 Chevrolet coupe with a Ford motor.
It's just right, aint it?
Here's a Ford-in-a-Ford. Makes a real hot rod out of this Pinto, don't it? I'm loving it...
Sweet...really sweet. Nice car too, huh?
Pretty...It's all I can say...
This'll wake up old Blue...
It's nice of the State of California to have special exits for flatheads where no Over Head Valves are allowed.
Sopp says, "Cooling down under a tent in the pits at El Mirage. They were having trouble with the steering that day and only made short, low-speed runs".

The Morris...I have an aluminum 2X4 manifold for it, but that might be over-kill. AOD trans, MGB 3.90 rearend, MGB front suspension. Some might recognise the radiator tank from a 61 Merc. In order to disguise that the firewall has been moved back 5", I extended the dash 5" also. It sits me quite comfortably with a pair of Lincoln bucket seats.
I felt OK about throwing these shots in because of the '61 Merc radiator tank, but you gotta admit...even though the valves are pointed the wrong way this Morris project is cool as hell.
