Quite a transformation, ain't it? Can you believe this is the same truck?

Bill's put together a dandy old F1, super nice. It's a '50 F-47, the Canadian F-1 counterpart. Engine and trans are original (engine is 60 over), but runs a 3.0:1 9-inch rear end, 215/60x16 radials on original rims. There's a new oak floor in the box and a custom bumper on the back. Cab lining is original quality repro  panels, and the seat is Bill's design. Color is Brilliant Red Metallic. No arguing, that's a beautiful color.

Bill's got a really sweet, solid old Ford truck that is as nice as any I've seen. You can see from the previous pages that it did not start out that way. Not too many fellows would tackle such a project. You'd have to be able to see beauty in the beast, for sure. Bill had mentioned to me that he was thinking about giving this truck to his daughter. Lucky, lucky girl...
