Well, now...here we got Laura Steele's dandy 1962 Rambler Classic. All stock with the little six-banger but decked out in fine blue watercolor with big spokes and low profile rubber.
'Little Chick' she goes by, a nickname bestowed upon her by her father back in the day when her mother went by the moniker, 'Big Chick'. Just makes sense, don't it? If you look close, there's a great big chick in the 'way back'. Laura said it either cost 300 bucks to make or it weighs 300 pounds, heck, I don't remember.
She just got it back out of the garage after searching for a carb kit. That's why she has the sticker in the back window. It's been out of action waiting for hard-to-get parts... you all know how that can be.
Anyways, it's a neat old Rambler and she's a neat gal, so they go together quite well.
By the by, Laura's looking for some chrome trim, if you happen to have some laying around...
