Shot of cam chest.  This H/D 45 motor is built from all NOS parts including the cases; rods; crank shafts & pin; bearings; heads; cylinders, etc.  Exceptions are used original cams which were re-pinioned and re-ground  with a hotter profile; new Truett & Osborn stroker flywheels; modified Chevy 235 six cylinder inlet valves; custom Venolia pistons.  The motor was ported and relieved, stroked 11/16" and bored .010" for a displacement of about 54 ci., or from 750cc to 900cc.

Mock-up of clutch and after market primary belt drive...   Fitting up custom rear exhaust pipe.  The stock primary chain held the transmission too far forward, requiring the factory to place a large dent in the pipe in order to clear this rear brake cross-link.  The use of the belt drive placed the transmission further rearward, allowing the use of a full diameter pipe here...
